The Hostel is staffed 24 hours, all year round.

One of our Hostel Officers will be assigned as your Keyworker. That person will meet with you each week (attending those meetings is part of your agreement with the YMCA).

Your Keyworker will help you to settle in, and answer any questions that you may have. They will help you to complete any forms you may need and ensure that your benefits are correct.

You can use your Keywork session to talk about any issues in your life which you might need some support with. This might include employment, money, cooking, and family problems.

Your Keyworker will also help you access other services that you may need.

We'll also make sure that you have an action plan of your goals. This is something for you to aim towards, helping you to move on to living independently.

We will do our best to ensure that your stay with us is a happy and beneficial time for you and that when you move into your own accommodation you will be settled and content and have pleasant memories of your stay.
